Free & Reduced Lunch Application

Community Unit School District 95 operates under the guidelines of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Children from families with incomes at or below 130 percent of the poverty level are eligible for free meals. Those with incomes between 130 percent and 185 percent of the poverty level are eligible for reduced-priced meals, for which students can be charged no more than 40 cents.

A "free or reduced meal" consists of a main entrée, 2 sides and milk. Additionally, if a child chooses an a la carte item, it is an extra cost and will be charged accordingly.

Completed applications may be turned in at your child’s school.  For more expeditious processing , applications can be dropped off at the district administration building located at 400 S. Old Rand Road, attention Business Office.

The application will be available late July.
